Hello and welcome! I am a conversation analyst working on identity construction in language, with a particular focus on sexual and national identity. I hold a BA (Hons) in Philology (with specialization in Linguistics) and a MA in Theoretical Linguistics, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I am now a 3rd year PhD student in the Linguistics Department at Queen Mary University of London.

I am interested in various aspects of talk-in-interaction, which include but are not limited to person-reference, membership categorization practices and intersectionality  but also epistemic negotiation, discourse markers and stance-taking.

If you want to find a little bit more about me and my research, you are in the right place. Also, you are very welcome to contact me for more information.
